Shoulders low and back
-->
To the unrelaxed us:
Shoulders low and back – channel your inner aerial silks
artist. Channel the N2O void.
When you hear some music and immediately dislike it, think
earnestly if, just maybe, that’s because you are imagining how someone else
might judge you for listening to it.
The same goes for words, actions, and taste in all
things. Trust your gut, but be aware of
when that gut is being influenced by suppositions of how someone else might
judge. Note that these things are way
easier to turn off, if temporarily, when in a relaxed state, like anesthetization.
Shoulders low and back.
Shoulders low all the time; by default. Why not?
Shoulders back is a bit more complex. It brings out (or perhaps is a result of?)
the animal-brain; the inner primate pokes out his chest; the cerebral being
finally relaxes his mind for a moment, relaxing shoulder blades into spine,
rolling and stretching them around their rear reaches.
How lng can I*
Shoulders low and back means my guard is down, at least
psychologically. I’m more in reactive
mode – panther-like – rather than proactive mode. The panther doesn’t have to worry about who
or what is behind him or what might happen if... because he’s a goddamn panther. Only what is in front.
Shoulders back also reminds me to relax. Pull those shoulder blade *all* the way in toward the spine. Roll them up, and then back down to let them settle by my sides.

Shoulders low. And
occasionally, roll them around the back.
*How long can I keep typing after a double-chest-full of nitrous
oxide? Not very long, it seems.
